It wasn’t until I started teaching yoga in 2007 that I realised I had found a perfect vehicle for my psychology degree. I believe that yoga is a necessary tool to bring transformation into your life and to explore change. Yoga is the physical expression of the inner workings of the mind. My avid study of yoga psychology and philosophy has helped me understand more about who we are and how we think, and has led me to a greater understanding of not only how the body works but the mind as well. Through mindfulness, meditation and patience my yin classes will help you to be at peace, feel less stressed, and physically more comfortable within yourself. I continue to explore these themes through ongoing training with yin teachers both locally and overseas.
I am an avid writer and have had my work published in Elephant Journal and Mind Body Green, and am a regular contributer for My Yoga Online. I love to practice yin and enjoy the creativity of vinyasa flow.
